WINEMAKING
The Uplift Vineyard is a celebration of a one-of-a-kind terroir. Our viticulture and winemaking style allows the land to speak for itself. We achieve this by using low-intervention techniques that preserve fruit and reinforce the elegance this place provides. For each vintage, we will only use the top 10% of all grapes the property produces.
At the helm of our winemaking program is Claire Richardson, the former assistant winemaker at William Chris Vineyards. Having worked around the world, Claire brings a unique and forward-thinking approach to winemaking. She holds a steadfast belief that Texas deserves a place as one of the world’s best wine-growing regions. Chris, Andrew, and our consulting winemaker Jean Hoefliger will all assist in Uplift's winemaking program.
With 13 varieties and 55 acres at our disposal, there are limitless ways that mother nature can best be expressed. This variation will be a hallmark of Uplift, and each wine will be remarkable in every way.
